Tag - a - long Beagles is located in a small rural farming area in the township of Rudolph, Wisconsin. Rudolph is located in the center of the state, near Stevens Point, Wausau and Wisconsin Rapids. Its owner, Jerry Peters, has raised beagles for over 50 years.
TagAlongBeagleBreeders are mainly used for hunting, but are also commonly used as house pets, due to their good temperament. The beagle is a member of the hound group and has a distinctive bark. It is thought that the beagles long ears trap the sense of smell to the nose when their nose is to the ground. Beagles can have a range of colors but the most popular are the tri-color which is white, brown and black. Our puppies are handled by children at a very young age and therefore are accustomed to being around children.
Tad-a-long breeds their dogs for confirmation, intelligence and hunting ability. All of our Beagles are AKC registered.
We have a 12 acre enclosed area used to train and condition our Beagles. We also have a one acre enclosed area to help exercise our young puppies.
